I wanted to share this look because at times I find that sometimes cable knits can look too bulky, but with the right pairing it will be just right.
This Off-white cable knit cardigan from Givenchy @ $2715 with long sleeves and a multi-layered stand collar. The cardigan has a single button fastening and ribbed sections at the neck, sleeve cuffs and hem. I find this a great piece because it isn't too long and the luxe feel of this cardigan can be paired with jeans, black trousers, skirts, the list can go on.
With this look I do recommend to find an off white long-sleeved t-shirt to go underneath.
Here is a t-shirt that too can serve the purpose to wear underneath the cable knit cardigan, this basic is truly luxe staple, this off-white Isabel top by Freda is your wear-with-anything essential @ $230.
As always I am totally in love with the idea of shorts in the fall with a great pair of opaque tights and great booties. These brown silk pocket detail shorts @ $390 by Marc by Marc Jacobs are a beautiful transitional separate. Wearable for on and off-duty looks, dress them up with the cable knit cardigan, but if that doesn't suit you wear it with a great embellished t-shirt and a boyfriend blazer.
Just so you don't forget but definitely do the opaque tights and I always recommend the Wolford brand because of the quality @ $70 you are getting a good investment.
So this season the clog like ankle boot has been hitting it big, and I find that these are so practical, but also super comfortable which is an added bonus.
Substantiate your new season look with these robust, black leather, clog style, lace up, ankle boots from Marc Jacobs @ $550. These are achingly cool and hip, these have in built practicality which will also see you through the upcoming, somewhat tricky, Autumn/Winter months.
So this look is complete, and I find that these pieces can fit with other pieces within a fashion collection.
